Do we have to have a title without any team name or should we add our team name at the end and specify in the torrent description that we're just the new team that are mass sharing our libraries of hard to find stuff and we thank the original uploaders which unfortunately we don't know the names. (Most common, unfortunately), we've been collector's before thinking of a creating a team 2 decades later so most of the content has been renamed per Plex naming convention. First and foremost we'd like to respect the scene and their original uploaders so here are some scenarios I'd like to know when we should use the original team tag versus our own team tag. regarding creation of a team Hello, we're a few friends who'd like to create a team for hard to find TV content circa 80's - 2010's and we would appreciate some guideline. I will ignore any DMs I receive and subsequently block you. This is NOT an invitation to DM me for invites. If no one ever gets invited, how can communities expect to grow? Is anyone else like this? Or am I outside of the norm? P.S. I guess I just don't like the current culture of never inviting anyone due to the fear of losing their account. (As of now, only one person has ever shown me they deserve to be on PTP and BTN out of the dozens I've taken a chance on). But sometimes, if those users prove themselves as someone who can follow the rules and not end up banned on a general tracker, I'll open the doors to the better ones for them at my discretion. Obviously I don't hand out invites to trackers in higher standing like PTP/BTN/HDB/BHD/GGn etc. ![]() Usually by showing they at least have experience with public trackers and understand the concepts of leeching/seeding and ratio. Personally, I've handed out invites to many people for general entry-level trackers like IPT/TL/FL if I feel like the person would do well and not end up banned. How picky are you with giving out invites? Curious what the general community perspective is on handing out private tracker invites to people they only know online or even near strangers (like through public forums and reddit).
